3. Information We Collect, How We Collect It, and How We Use It
Depending on how you interact with the Services, AS Mower may collect the following data, which could constitute personal information:
3.1 Data You Create or Provide to Us
When you access or use the Services, we collect certain information that you choose to create or provide to us, including:
| Data Category | Collection Points and Purposes |
| Account Registration Data | When you create an AS Mower account, you must provide certain information, such as your email address and/or phone number, and a password. We may process your username and password (either used independently or in combination with other data) to detect fraud, enable you to log in to our app or services, and appropriately control your access to restricted content. This personal information is processed as necessary to provide the services and to safeguard the legitimate interests of our services and content. |
| User Profile Data |
User Profile Data Providing information in your user profile is optional. You may choose to edit your username and nickname or add an image to represent yourself. While additional profile information is not required, it can enhance your use of our services, including connecting with other product users. We do not require sensitive information in user profiles, such as: Race or ethnicity Political opinions Religious or philosophical beliefs Union membership Physical or mental health conditions Sexual orientation Criminal records If you choose to include such data in your profile, it will be visible to others just like any other profile information you provide. Please avoid posting or including personal information in your profile that you do not wish to make public. |
3.2 Data Created While Using Our Services
When you use our Services, we may automatically collect certain
information through various software tools. We use this information to
facilitate logins, manage the system, maintain information security,
prevent misuse, and track user trends, understand how the Services are
used, analyze their effectiveness, and improve our Services. Some or all
of the automatically collected information may, on its own or when
combined with other data, constitute personal information under certain
data privacy laws. In such cases, we will handle that information in
accordance with this Privacy Statement. For example:
| Data Category | Collection Points and Purposes |
| Robot Type | We collect information about your robot model and serial number to fulfill your product and service needs. |
| Your Robot Data | You can authorize the app to search for AS Mower lawn mowing robots, enabling you to control and monitor the operation and technical status of your AS Mower robot. We collect telemetry data about your robot’s performance, usage, operation, and technical status to provide services and maintenance (including remote diagnostics and support). With your consent or in alignment with our legitimate interest to ensure the safety, security, and improvement of products and services, we use this data to refine your robot’s functionality over time. |
| Location Information |
We collect location information (e.g., GNSS, IP address, country code) from users' mobile devices if they have authorized collection. You can use the app without enabling AS Mower to collect mobile device location data, but this may limit the availability of certain app features. Your robot uses location information to enable features such as theft prevention, virtual boundaries, and navigation. Precision Fusion Location System (EFLS) technology may use a combination of GNSS, gyroscopes, accelerometers, magnetometers, odometry sensors, Bluetooth, IP addresses, Wi-Fi, and mobile signals to determine the robot’s location. To protect your privacy, location data is either processed directly within your robot without being transmitted externally or accessed by us only when diagnosing technical issues. |
| Environmental Data |
Robots are equipped with smart technology to collect information about their deployment environment. For instance, robots may gather data on working areas, restricted zones, satellite signal strength, and the presence of certain objects or obstacles (detected via bumpers, ultrasonic sensors, or visual sensors). This information supports functionality, troubleshooting, algorithm improvement, and optimizing service efficiency. Some robot models or accessories feature visual sensors to enable advanced functionalities like intelligent object detection and obstacle avoidance. Visual sensor data is processed locally within your robot and is not transmitted unless a fault occurs (e.g., obstacle collision or pressing the stop button). These incidents may trigger data collection to improve object recognition. You can enable or disable this data collection in the app at any time. If enabled, the data remains anonymous and unassociated with your account or serial number. |
| Diagnostic Data | We may maintain certain log files related to accessing and using our app and robots. Log files may include Internet Protocol ("IP") addresses, network request details, standard system logs, crash information, and other identifier technologies (collectively referred to as “log data”). Log data is used to monitor and analyze app and robot usage, resolve technical issues, manage technical operations, enhance functionality and user-friendliness, and better tailor our services to your needs. |
